Who We Are

Andy and Laurie Brister founded Brister Law Firm on March 1, 1995. After more than 20 years of providing legal services to the Lake Providence Community, Laurie was elected Judge of the 6th Judicial District Judge in 2018. Andy continued in the firm with his son, Jacob Brister, joining Brister Law Firm in April 2024.

Today, the firm has a broad range of practice areas including Real Estate, Estate Planning, Business Law, Corporate Entities, Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, Elder Law, Hunting and Recreational Law, Public Bodies and Agricultural Law.
